School Council

A greeting from the School Council!

DeWitt Carter's School Community Council meets on a monthly basis (usually the last Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.) in our school library.  The Council provides parents and staff with an opportunity to meet, provide input and develop plans to enhance the educational environment for our students.   The following sub-committees may be of special interest: the Fun-night Committee, the Graduation Committee, the Teacher Appreciation Committee, and the 100th Anniversay Committee. That is right....DeWitt carter is turning 100 in 2012! We will need plenty of help!

Our new Executive was formed at September's meeting. They are:

Hope Madeiros - Vice Chair

Tricia Dickie - Secretary / Treasurer

Our meetings are very informative and informal and we always welcome new members.  Childcare is available by calling the school the day of the meeting.
