- DeWItt Carter is turning 100!!!!!
- On Friday, April 27th, our school will be celebrating its 100th year in Port Colborne. We will be having an open house along with a family fun night! Please make plans to be there. If you have time to help volunteer and organize, please call the school and we will put you to work!

Welcome to the DeWitt Carter Public School Website. We hope this website will further strengthen the connection between school, home, and our community.
DeWitt Carter Public School is located on Fares Street in Port Colborne. We are the only public school located on the East Side of the Welland Canal. DeWitt Carter is currently home to close to 260 students from junior kindergarten to Grade eight. Did you know that DeWItt Carter is celebrating its 100th Anniversary? On April 27th, 2012, DeWitt Carter will be hosting a 100th Anniversary / Family Fun Night. We will be displaying a walk through time (depicting what has happened in 100 years), a DeWitt Carter display, a live band ( Running With Scissors), many games and food for students and their families.
